School Year Rates-Effective February 5, 2009
Registration Fee - $100 per child-
This annual fee is due at the initial time of enrollment and again each spring for the upcoming school year. The registration fee is the first step in the registration process and it is not refundable. A full one-week notice or payment of one-week’s additional tuition fee is required when a child withdraws from any program at the Child Development Center.
BOOK / SUPPLY / MAINTENANCE FEE – Based on Age Group-
This fee is due at the time of enrollment and again each year for children enrolled for the following fall. These fees are not refundable after their designated due dates, nor is there reimbursement for any materials should the child withdraw before the end of the school year. Payment completes the second and final stage of the registration process and secures your child’s space in our program for the following school year.
6 weeks through 18 months: $80
19 months through 36 months $130
3 year olds: $140
K-4: $150
Building Fee-
$100 per family
This is a one time fee for new families of our child care center. It is due to complete registration for all new families.
WEEKLY TUITION RATES - FULL DAYCARE PROGRAM-
This is a weekly fee for children enrolled in the full daycare program at the CDC. These children may attend anytime during operation hours from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. This price includes the learning program, snacks and lunch. Breakfast is served for children arriving before 7:30 a.m. There will be no reduction in fees for absences, holidays or closings due to bad weather conditions.
6 weeks – 23 months: $117 per week
K-2 $112 per week
K-3 $105 per week
K-4 $100 per week
WEEKLY TUITION RATES – BEFORE and / or AFTER SCHOOL CARE-
This fee is for children enrolled in our before and/or after school care program. Care is provided for children entering K-5 through fifth grade. Transportation to and from Allentown Elementary, Semmes Elementary and Collier Elementary is included. Lunch is included when they attend on school holidays. There will be no reduction in weekly fees for absences during holiday periods or weather closings.

Registration for Summer Camp opens on February 22, 2010
Summer Camp Rates:
SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION FEE - $50 PER CHILD
This fee is for children who will only be attending the Summer Camp program. This is for 5 year olds through 5th grade. The registration fee is due at the time of enrollment and is not refundable.
$50 SUMMER ACTIVITY FEE...
This is a one time, non-refundable fee to cover supplies and activities during the Summer Camp program.
SUMMER WEEKLY TUITION RATES – Due by May 3, 2010 - PART TIME PROGRAM
This is a weekly fee for children enrolled in the full daycare program. These children may attend anytime during regular operating hours from 6:00 a. m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This price includes snacks and lunch. Breakfast is optional per week.
6 weeks – K4 Classes: Same as listed for school year
Children who have completed K-4 and K-5: $103 per week (includes most field trips)
Elementary Classes: $103 per week (included most field trips)
Breakfast $2.50 per week
Summer Weekly Tuition Rates – Part-Time Program
This is a weekly fee for children who are enrolled in the part-time summer program. There is no part–time care for children who have not completed K-4. Days and hours are available only as follows and may not be changed from week to week.
2 Full Days (Tuesday & Thursday from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.)
Children who have completed K4 through K5: $51 per week Breakfast $2.50 per week
1St-5th Grades $53 per week Breakfast $2.50 per week
3 Full days (Mon. Wed. & Friday anytime from 6:00 a.m. until 6 p.m.)
Children who have completed K-4 through K-5: $73 per week - Breakfast $2.50 per week
1st Through 5th Grade $75 per week Breakfast $2.50 per week
Miscellaneous Fees-
Late Payment Fee: Tuition payments will be due in advance on Friday for the upcoming week. A grace period extends through Wednesday of the week that is due. A late payment fee of $5 will be assessed on accounts not paid by 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. If an account becomes a week past due, service will not be provided the following Monday morning until the past due balance is brought current.
Tuition may be paid by cash, check or money order. We do not accept credit cards. Payments may be made in the office, or placed in our drop box.
Late Pick Up Fee: The center closes at 6:00 p.m. each evening. A late pick up fee of $10 is charged during the first 5 minutes after closing. There is an additional $1 per minute charged after 6:05 p.m.
Returned Check Fee: There is a $30 service fee charged on any returned check. If the check is returned due to bank error, the center will require a statement from that financial institution in order to reverse the service charges. After the second check has been returned for non sufficient funds, all payments must be made by cash, cashier’s check or money order.
Vacations/Absences: There is no reduction in fee for absences, holidays or closings due to bad weather conditions. After attending the CDC year-round for twelve months, each child enrolled in the daycare program will be allowed two weeks of vacation without paying. Vacations must be taken on a full-week, Monday through Friday basis, and they run on a calendar year. Unused vacation at the end of the calendar year will not roll over.
Leaves of Absence: The following are conditions when leaves may be granted. No fee will be charged to hold the child’s space during there periods, but annual vacation must be forfeited, and NO COMBINATION of the following may be used:
*Up to 4 weeks during the summer for non-custodial parental leave (court documentation required).
OR
*Up to 6 weeks following sibling’s birth for children of parents who are off due to maternity leave.
OR
*Up to 3 months during the summer for teachers, college students or other 9-month employees.
